The Social Sciences Institute of Süleyman Demirel University, which was established in February 1993, seven months after the establishment of Süleyman Demirel University in July 1992, started its studies in the spring semester of the 1992-1993 academic year. Subsequently, in the fall semester of the 1993-94 academic year; It started its education and training activities with 38 (Thirty-eight) students in the Master's program in the Departments of Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, History, Turkish Language and Literature, and a total of 5 (five) students in the Doctoral Programs in Business and History Departments. The Institute of Social Sciences, one of the oldest institutions of the university, has chosen as its goal to train qualified lecturers and scientists that the relevant faculties and departments need, as well as to produce science for the whole humanity, first for Türkiye and then for the world, based on the needs of the city where its graduate programs are established. As of 2022, the departments affiliated to the Institute of Social Sciences; Süleyman Demirel University consists of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Communication, Faculty of Arts and Sciences and Faculty of Theology. In this context, our Institute works in direct relation and connection with five different faculties and a college of our university. As of the fall semester of the 2022-2023 academic year, a total of 27 doctorate programs, 3 interdisciplinary, 1 in English and 1 in Arabic, 35 thesis master's programs, 1 interdisciplinary and 1 in English, affiliated to 30 departments, 3 Teaching master's program with thesis, 10 II. Instruction It continues its education and training activities with a total of 80 programs, including the non-thesis master's program and 5 distance education non-thesis master's programs.
